PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh women's soccer team will be giving away free poutine to the first 200 fans who purchase a soft drink at Saturday's 2 p.m. game versus Florida State.
The event is set to honor the Panthers' four Canadians in Emily Pietrangelo, Emma Pozzulo, Ashley Moreira and Taylor Pryce. Poutine, a Canadian delicacy, is made with French fries, cheese curd and gravy.
Pitt will host reigning ACC champion and second-ranked Florida State at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Ambrose Urbanic Field, also welcoming Panther alumni for a halftime celebration of the 20th anniversary of the program.
