Pitt Gymnastics Announces Addition of Brittney Harris

PITTSBURGH - Pitt gymnastics head coach Debbie Yohman has announced the addition of Brittney Harris to Pitt's incoming freshman class.
Harris, a native of Easton, Pa., trains at Parkettes National Training Center in Allentown under the direction of John Holman, Robin Netwall and Milo Johnson. The Easton Area High School graduate is a six-year level 10 competitor and was a J.O. National Qualifier in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
"Parkettes has pretty much been my life and I'm extremely excited to be coming to Pitt," Harris said.
"Brittney is presently coming off an Achilles injury, which sidelined her from her 2010 competitive season, but is aggressively rehabbing and is in the gym making progress," Yohman said. "If things continue to go well we think Brit could be a contender on any of the four events and are excited to have her joining our Panther family."
