PITTSBURGH?The field for the NCAA Northeast Regional has been set, it was announced Monday by the NCAA Gymnastics Committee. The Panthers will compete at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, April 9.
Pittsburgh finished in eighth place at the EAGL Championships this past weekend but secured one of the 36 berths in the regionals by ranking fifth in the Northeast. Joining Pitt at the Northeast Regional will be host New Hampshire and Rutgers from the EAGL, third-ranked LSU, 10th-ranked Oklahoma and 15th-ranked Arkansas.
The Panthers are making their eighth NCAA Regional appearance in the past 10 seasons and will be looking to top their high score of 193.35 points.
Below are the teams selected to each of the six NCAA Regionals. The top two teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships.
NORTHEAST REGION (Rankings in parentheses):

CENTRAL REGION

NORTH CENTRAL REGION

WEST REGION
