Gymnastics Ranked 25th in Nation After First Meet

PITTSBURGH ? The Pittsburgh women's gymnastics team is ranked 25th in the nation according to GymInfo with a score of 193.45 in its season opener at Ohio State last Saturday.
The Panthers (1-1, 1-0 East Atlantic Gymnastics League) are ranked second in the EAGL behind New Hampshire and third in the Northeast Region with their highest season-opening score in school history. As a team, the Panthers are ranked 21st nationally on the vault and balance beam, 23rd on the floor exercise and 26th on the uneven bars.
Additionally, many of the Panthers' gymnasts are ranked in the top 50 nationally and top 10 in the EAGL and Northeast Region. They are:

- Tied-30th nationally on vault (9.850)
- Tied-40th nationally on balance beam (9.825)
- Tied-37th nationally in all-around (38.925)
- Third in Northeast Region on vault
- Ninth in Northeast Region on bars (9.725)
- Tied-7th in Northeast Region on beam
- Fourth in Northeast Region in all-around
- Tied-1st in EAGL on vault
- Tied-2nd in EAGL on balance beam
- Fourth in EAGL in all-around
Erika Goldberg (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern)
- Tied-6th in Northeast Region on vault (9.725)
- Tied-3rd in Northeast Region on floor exercise (9.825)
- Tied-9th in EAGL on vault
- Tied-2nd in EAGL on floor exercise
