Jennifer DeLaHoz registers her third goal of the season.

JAMAICA, N.Y.- Sophomore Jennifer DeLaHoz (Amawalk, N.Y./Somers) registers her third goal of the season as the University of Pittsburgh tied St. John?s University 1-1 Friday evening.The Panthers advance to 2-3-1, while the Red Storm advance to 2-5-1.

The Red Storm?s Kaitlin Schmidt scored off of her own rebound in the 23^rd minute to give St. John?s the lead.

The Panthers were on the board during in the 61^st minute when Kristina Francois (Springfield, Va./Paul VI) was fouled in the box by St. John?s Claudia Rubino. DeLaHoz nailed the penalty kick to tie the game 1-1.

Panther goalkeeper Jamie Pelusi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) registered five saves on the day. Redshirt senior forward Netta Agredano did not make the trip to New York due to a minor knee injury.

The Panthers are next in action Sunday at 1 p.m. when they visit Hofstra.
