Pittsburgh Gymnasts Receive All-EAGL Plaudits

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-Capping off their 2001 regular season, Pittsburgh gymnasts Raya Mullin (Runnemede, N.J./Triton), Rebecca Singleton (Poland, Ohio/Boardman) and Jennifer Easter (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) were named to the all-East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) teams, announced this past weekend at the EAGL Championships. Mullin was the lone Panther to capture first-team all-league honors, while Singleton and Easter earned second-team recognition.
Mullin was named to all-EAGL first team on uneven bars, while Singleton earned all-EAGL second team on balance beam and Easter garnered second team on floor exercise.
The awards mark the first time in each of the three's career that they have received all-league plaudits.
