Panther Gymnasts Fall In Quad-Meet At Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Pittsburgh gymnastics team finished fourth in a quad-meet Friday night, falling to Kentucky, Central Michigan and Bowling Green.
Junior Raya Mullin (Runnemede, N.J./Triton) tied for second place on uneven bars, tallying a 9.825 for the highest-Panther finisher.
Tying for fifth place on floor exercise was sophomore Jennifer Easter (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney). Easter recorded a 9.850 for the event.
Sophomore Heather Launse (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) placed sixth on balance beam, finishing with a season-best 9.800.
The Panthers wrap up their regular season as they host Kent State on Saturday, March 17. Starting time for the meet is slated for 7 p.m.
