Prior to joining Pitt, Raquel served as the Life Skills Graduate Intern for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, in Spokane, WA. A 2018 College of Business Commencement Banner Bearer and graduate of EKU, with a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Raquel spent four years as a student-athlete with the Women’s Tennis Team. On top of that she loved to be involved around campus and its communities, taking leadership roles in several campus organizations such as the Latino Student Association (LSA), the Student Government Association (SGA), and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Nationally, Raquel is a recognized member of the National Association for Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and serves in the leadership team of External Partnerships Working Group of that organization.
