- Earned a spot on the Volleyball Magazine College Coaching Hotshots list.
- Worked with Pitt liberos/defensive specialists, guiding Emmy Klika to Second Team All-ACC and AVCA Honorable Mention All-America honors for the first time in her career.
- Was impactful in Pitt's defensive game, helping the Panthers to a 0.141 opponent hitting percentage, good for second nationally.
- Helped Pitt to its third consecutive NCAA Women’s Division I Final Four, the third consecutive Final Four appearance.
- Won a share of the 2023 ACC Championship for the second straight season, marking the program's fifth ACC title over the course of seven seasons.
- Pitt earned a spot in the NCAA Elite Eight for the fourth consecutive season.
- The Panthers competed in the NCAA Tournament for the eighth consecutive season, marking the longest NCAA postseason streak in program history.
- Pitt finished the season ranked No. 4 in the AVCA Coaches Poll for the third season in a row.
- 2023 marked the 10th consecutive season with Pitt ranked in the NCAA RPI Top 50, finishing at No. 3.
Roth came to Pitt after most recently completing a one year stint at Arkansas State as the associate head coach/recruiting coordinator. She joined Arkansas State after two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Mercer. The Bears recorded a 16-12 mark overall in 2021, going 12-4 in Southern Conference play en route to earning the SoCon regular-season crown.
Roth also boasts head coaching experience, previously serving as the head volleyball coach at Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colo. for three seasons (2017-19), leading the team to the 2019 SCAC Team Sportsmanship Award. In her three years at JWU, she also served as the Senior Woman Administrator, oversaw the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) and was an Athletic Coaching and Administration professor.
Before her time in Denver, Roth spent two seasons in Natchitoches, La., as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Northwestern State.
Roth began her coaching career at Campbell in 2013, where she served as a graduate assistant working with the Fighting Camels' defense and overseeing summer camps.
The Lake Orion, Mich., native was a defensive specialist at Samford for four years and helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2011 Southern Conference title and an NCAA Tournament appearance. She played in over 90 matches in her career and received her bachelor's degree in Sports Administration.
