Daymon Long is entering his second season as the Director of Creative Content for the Pitt women’s basketball program in 2020-21. He is responsible for developing compelling social media content across all major platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) along with helping the Pitt coaching staff with recruiting content.
Long comes to the Panthers after three years as a freelance producer, director and editor where he had an extensive track record with clients like Outside Magazine, Dance Moms, Very Local PGH, Hearst Television, Allegheny Conference, Birgo Realty, Little Italy Productions and Engineers Without Borders.
A native of Jonestown, Pa., Long graduated from Point Park University in 2017 with a bachelor of arts degree in cinema production.
Beyond the Bio
What is your favorite thing to do in the city of Pittsburgh?
My favorite thing to do in the city is to go running, hiking, or biking in one of the many city parks!

Rock climbing, writing, and board games!

Dayshanette Harris hitting the game winner against Notre Dame in the first round of the ACC Tournament!
