Camron Blair joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in May of 2025 as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for women’s basketball. Blair comes to Pitt from Louisiana Tech University, where he spent one season as an Associate Sports Performance Coach for women’s basketball and volleyball.
Prior to arriving in Ruston, Blair spent a year as a Strength and Conditioning Coaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee. During his time in Knoxville, he was directly responsible for assisting in the year-round development of the women's basketball team. He also assisted with the softball, rowing, and track & field programs.
Blair completed his Master's and Bachelor's degrees at Georgia College & State University, where he was a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. At GCSU, he was responsible for the year-round development of men's and women's basketball and tennis student-athletes.
While obtaining his degree, Blair started his career at Mercer University as an intern working with the football and men's and women's basketball programs.
Blair earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Georgia College & State University in 2021 and his Master's in Health and Human Performance in 2023. He holds certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Applied Functional Science (CAFS) and CPR/AED from the American Heart Association.
