2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifier for Cape Verde
Named to All-ACC Academic Team
Finished second in 100 Breast (1:04.76), and fifth in 200 Breast (2:2.27) and 200 IM (2:09.12) against Minnesota
Placed 29^th in 100 Breast (1:04.21), 30^th in 200 Breast (2:18.06) and 46^th in 200 IM (2:06.26) at 2024 ACC Championships

2022-23 Season

Sixth in 200 breast (1:05.34), and seventh in 100 breast (1:05.34) against Notre Dame/ Penn State
Eighth in 100 breast (1:05.68) against Michigan/ Wisconsin
Fourth in 100 breast (1:05.99) against West Virginia
Achieved two personal best times in the 100 Breast (1:04.41) and the 200 Breast (2:18.18) at the Ohio State Invite.
Represented Cape Verde at the 16th FINA World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia…competed in 100 IM (1:05.18 – 24th), 100 Breast (1:12.72 – 41^st), and the 50 Breast (33.49).

Held season team records in the 100 breaststroke, 100 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 200 IM, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay.
Named to the National Portuguese Honors Society

Daughter of Leila Alfama.
Has two sisters, Latroya and Malia, and two brothers, Troy and Myles.
Represented the first-ever Cape Verde swimming team at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics with older brother Troy ... swam in the women's 100m breaststroke, finishing 40th overall with a time of 1:16:96 ... Troy, swam in the Men’s 50-meter freestyle
Older sister, Latroya, Cape Verdean Swimmer, World-Class Athlete.
Family member, CJ Abrams, plays for the Washington Nationals.
Major is pre-dental.
