Curtis McGhee serves as a recruiting analyst for Pitt football.
McGhee joined the Panthers in September 2025 in his current role, supporting transfer portal operations and game day recruiting logistics. He assists with maintaining the transfer board and evaluation plan, evaluates portal prospects (including responsibility for offensive prospects), creates cut-ups for high school and college recruits in XOS, and helps facilitate prospect tours and position-coach evaluations.
Prior to Pitt, McGhee spent training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs (July–September 2025) as a player personnel intern. His responsibilities included film evaluations and scouting reports, an offensive line evaluation project presented to player personnel leadership, support with free agent workouts, practice participation and rep-count tracking in XOS, and day-to-day operational logistics for players and staff.
McGhee previously coached at Central Catholic High School in Wheeling, W.V. (2024–25) as a secondary coach and strength coordinator, where he led the defensive backs, broke down opponent film and tendencies, assisted with weekly game planning, and coordinated a year-round strength and conditioning program.
A Brown University graduate, McGhee earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 2024 and was a defensive back for the Bears from 2020-24.
