2024: Enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2024 following his transfer from San Diego State...started all 13 games at wide receiver…compiled 37 catches for 426 yards (11.5 avg.) and a team-leading six touchdowns on the year…in his Pitt debut, had touchdown receptions of six and seven yards against Kent State…posted a season-high seven catches (for 68 yards) against Clemson…had a season-best 71 receiving yards (on four catches) against Youngstown State, including a six-yard TD...named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team.
PRIOR TO PITT: Spent the 2023 season at San Diego State but did not play in any games…played two seasons (2021-22) at Western Carolina, where he compiled 120 receptions for 1,617 yards (13.5 avg.) and 15 touchdowns…logged eight 100-yard receiving games (and one 99-yard game) and four contests with at least 10 catches at WCU…during the 2022 season, had 47 catches for 658 yards (14.0 avg.) and six TDs…in 2021, was a first-team All-Southern Conference performer and Phil Steele’s SoCon Freshman of the Year after compiling 73 receptions for 959 yards (13.1 avg.) and nine TDs…that year, had a career-high 177 yards and two TDs on a WCU-record 16 catches against Wofford…named a Freshman All-American by HERO Sports and Phil Steele…joined WCU after playing for Division II Tusculum during the 2021 spring season, when he had 13 catches for 194 yards (14.9 avg.) and five TDs in five contests.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state (second team) and All-Broward County (first team) at Dillard…had 31 catches for 800 yards and 12 TDs as a senior…led team to a 12-1 record and the Florida Region 4-6A final…played under Coach Demitris Mincey.
PERSONAL: Son of Rachel Sims…has three sisters and two brothers…communication major.
