2022: Played in three games, starting one…starting assignment came in the Sun Bowl against UCLA…completed 29-of-61 passes (48%) for 304 yards with two touchdowns and one interception on the year…additionally rushed for 59 yards on 14 carries (4.2 avg.)…capped his career with a heroic performance in the Sun Bowl, directing Pitt to a 37-35 win over UCLA…accounted for 297 total yards against the Bruins, passing for 225 and a touchdown (20 of 41) and rushing for 72 on 10 carries (7.2 avg.)…led the game-winning drive by completing two passes for 35 yards and then scrambling for 11 yards, setting up Ben Sauls’ 47-yard field goal with four seconds left…in his initial appearance of the season, Patti relieved the injured Kedon Slovis at the start of the third quarter against Tennessee and threw for 79 yards on 9-of-20 passing…despite being hobbled with a leg injury himself, Patti's four-yard touchdown pass to Jared Wayne with 2:23 left in regulation tied the game at 27 and forced overtime against the Volunteers…also appeared against Virginia.
2021: Played in nine games, making one start…starting assignment—the second of his career—came against Michigan State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl…on the year, completed 14-of-19 passes (74%) for 161 yards and rushed four times for 36 yards (9.0 avg.) and two touchdowns…against Michigan State, completed 2-of-5 passes for 21 yards and rushed three times for 27 yards (9.0 avg.) and a TD before missing the final 3½ quarters due to injury…scored Pitt’s first touchdown against the Spartans on a dazzling 16-yard scramble but sustained his injury at the end of the play…threw for a season-high 58 yards on 5-of-5 passing against Massachusetts in the season opener…added a nine-yard rushing score against UMass.
