2021: Played in all 14 games, making one start (Syracuse) at safety…totaled 27 tackles and one pass breakup…had a career-high five stops at Duke…logged four tackles in the Tennessee and Michigan State (Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl) games…had three tackles and a PBU at Syracuse.
2020: Played in all 11 games, serving on special teams and as a reserve safety…totaled eight tackles on the year…had a season-high four tackles at Clemson.
2019: Played in four games in special teams capacities (UCF, Delaware, Virginia Tech and the Quick Lane Bowl against Eastern Michigan).
2018: Played in one game (Sun Bowl against Stanford) to preserve a freshman redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned acclaim as one of the top two cornerbacks in Maryland according to the scouting services…rated Maryland’s No. 13 overall prospect by Rivals, No. 17 by 247Sports and No. 22 by ESPN…compiled 39 tackles, 15 pass breakups and an interception his senior year…All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC)…helped DeMatha to a combined 18-5 record (.783) over his final two varsity seasons…his junior year, DeMatha finished 12-0, capturing the WCAC title and finishing No. 4 in the USA TODAY Super 25 high school rankings…played under Coach Elijah Brooks...selected to play for the Team USA Under 19 National Team, which defeated Canada, 47-7, in International Bowl IX at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.
PERSONAL: Judson Tallandier II, born 8/12/00, is the son of Judson Tallandier and Samira Malik…is the nephew of Ridwan Malik, who was a defensive back for West Virginia from 2004-07…earned his bachelor's degree in communication and is now pursuing a second major in media and professional communications.
