HIGH SCHOOL: An all-conference wide receiver at Union under Coach Lou Grasso…despite an injury-shortened senior season, averaged 17.2 yards per catch, totaling 23 receptions for 396 yards and five touchdowns…spent his initial three years at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High, where he earned all-division honors as a junior after catching 73 passes for 941 yards and five touchdowns…selected to play in the Phil Simms North-South Football Classic…also a track letterman.

PERSONAL: Isaiah Sobrino-Stewart, born 1/2/00, is the son of Tony and Dee Stewart…has two sisters and one brother…father played football at Iowa, where he was a standout running back and senior captain…Tony Stewart was selected in the 11^th round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks and went on to play four seasons in the Canadian Football League (Calgary Stampeders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats)…communication major.
