JUNIOR (2007): Nick Mullins served as the Panthers[apos] primary catcher in his first season with Pitt...appeared in 43 games behind the plate, while starting in 40...tallied 308 putouts while gunning down 19 runners...recorded eight multi-hit and four multi-RBI games...crushed doubles in both of his plate appearances against NYIT on April 29, tallying an RBI and a run-scored...went 2-4 at Georgetown with two doubles and a run-scored on May 6, as well as tallied six defensive putouts to help Pitt to a 6-2 win over the Hoyas...blasted a two-run shot and first homerun as a Panther in Pitt[apos]s Big East opener at USF...went 2-3 with a triple, two RBI and two runs-scored, allowing the Panthers to hold off visiting Villanova 8-7 on April 21.
