FRESHMAN (2003): In his first season, saw his playing time increase as the year went on...started 13 of the 19 games in the outfield in which he appeared...batted .235 with 12 hits and eight runs...did not commit an error in 35 chances...in the win over Chicago State, tallied his first career hits and finished 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored...was 1-for-4 against Akron in his first career start...had best game of the year in the win at Niagara...finished with a career-high (tied) three hits in six at-bats and scored a run...added two hits in the 4-3 loss at Boston College...scored twice and added a hit at Canisius...also had a stolen base against the Griffs. High School: Cline hit .509 in four years with 12 homeruns at Mercersburg Academy...three-time Mid-Atlantic Conference champion, including a state championship in 2001...named All-MAC in 2000 and All-MAPL in 2002...member of the 2001 and 2002 All-East All-Star American Legion team...named Herald Mail Co-Player of the year as a senior...also earned Herald Mail first-team accolades in 2001...named first-team Public Opinion as a junior and senior.
