FRESHMAN (2006): Muldowney appeared in 32 games for the Panthers, making 22 starts...batted .219 with 23 hits, including four doubles, one triple and three homeruns for 13 RBI...posted a .362 slugging percentage and scored 19 runs...contributed six putouts and nine assists, including one double play...saw first collegiate playing time vs. Vanderbilt on Feb. 24...made first collegiate start in a 10-5 loss to Boston College on March 5...went 2-5 with two singles to record first career hit in a 24-0 win over Rollins on March 6...recorded first career double in a 9-3 win over St. Joseph[apos]s...blasted first collegiate homerun with a three-run shot to help the Panthers to a 10-5 win over Sacred Heart...tallied another three-run blast the following game in a 14-2 win over St. Joseph[apos]s...recorded first career triple in an 8-1 win over Seton Hall...went 2-2 in 17-14 loss to Kent State, including third career homerun in the bottom of the ninth...held a 10-game hitting streak from March 6 through March 22, tallying two or more hits in eight of those games.

PERSONAL: Born August 4, 1986...son of Bill and Joan Muldowney...has one brother, Billy (23), who was a starting pitcher for the Panthers and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2006...a chemistry major.
