- Improved during his second season at Pitt
- Lowered his top times in the 50 Free and 100 Fly
- Provided depth and leadership as a sprinter and relay contributor
- Earned his first event win for the Panthers
- Triumphed in the 100 Free against Ohio State
- Once again competed at the ACC Championships
- ACCs: 46th in the 50 Free, 47th in the 100 Free
- Performed well in his debut season with the Panthers
