PITTSBURGH — Pitt Volleyball will give fans their first look at the 2026 Panthers when the team hosts its annual Blue/Gold intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. ET.
This will be Pitt's first competitive match in its new home at Victory Heights Arena.
Panther volleyball season ticket holders will get their first chance to experience their new seats and preview the game day experience awaiting them this fall. The Blue/Gold exhibition is included as part of the season ticket package but does not count toward the 65 percent attendance threshold.
Single-match tickets to this year's Blue/Gold scrimmage are $5 and will go on sale this Thursday, July 16. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to join the Pitt volleyball ticket interest list.
Event Overview
In celebration of the opening of the Victory Heights Arena, Pitt will hold a free pre-match fan fest outside the venue, beginning at noon. Entertainment options at the fan fest include a face painter, yard games, concessions offerings, and more.
The volleyball team will lead a Panther Prowl walk into the arena right before doors open at 1 p.m.
Early arriving fans will receive a commemorative wooden coaster celebrating the opening of the Victory Heights Arena.
The Victory Club on the court level will also be open to all fans interested in checking out that premium space. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar in the Victory Club.
Ticket Operations
As noted above, the Blue/Gold scrimmage is included as part of the season ticket package. All ticket holders can expect tickets to be delivered the week of July 27. This exhibition does not count toward the 65 percent season ticket holder attendance threshold.
For those season ticket holders who are unable to attend, they are encouraged to transfer their tickets to Pitt head coach Dan Fisher, who will get them in the hands of Panther fans who are able to be there. Season ticket holders will receive more detailed instructions on this process via email.
