Pitt’s Lorenzo Carrier Adds to Career Year with Three Additional All-America Honors

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Panther outfielder Lorenzo Carrier added to his career year as he earned three additional All-America honors, the publications announced.
Carrier garnered All-America status from ABCA/Rawlings (Second Team), Baseball America (Second Team) and the College Baseball Foundation (Honorable Mention).
The redshirt senior, who played and started in all of Pitt's 57 games in 2026, hit .387 with 77 hits, 69 RBI, 67 runs scored, 57 walks, 20 home runs and 15 doubles while slugging .784.
Carrier spearheaded a Pitt offense that was amongst the best in the nation this spring. The Panthers set program records for home runs (109) and walks (397) while having their most hits (577), RBI (452) and runs scored (498) in a season since 2013.
He became just the third player in program history to hit 20-plus home runs in a single season. Carrier's 20 home runs were the most by a Panther since 2009.
The Bear, DE native has also earned NCBWA (First Team) and Perfect Game (Third Team) All-America honors, ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-Region honors, First Team All-ACC honors and was named by the NCBWA as the District 1 Co-Player of the Year.
Carrier is the Panthers' second All-America selection in the last three years and Pitt's first First Team honoree since 2009. He has now garnered five All-America honors for his play in 2026.
As for his work off the field, Carrier is very involved in the classroom and in the community and was named as one of the nine finalists for the 2026 Tony Gwynn Community Service Trophy.
Academically, Lorenzo has earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, Academic All-ACC and ACC Academic Honor Roll honors throughout his career.
