Panthers Prepare for NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships

PITTSBURGH- The Pitt women's swimming and diving team will kick off the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, March 18 at McCauley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga.
Meet the Panthers
The Panthers will be represented by 10 student-athletes at the competition, including Sydney Gring, Claire Jansen, Kimmy Shannon, Angelina Messina, Mary Clarke, Avery Kudlac, Parker Del Balso, Jess Vega, Mariana Osorio Mendoza and Cassie Guerrera. The team consists of seven returners from last years NCAA roster.
Last Time Out
In their last stint in Atlanta, the Panther women finished sixth overall at ACCs, the highest finish in program history. Jansen finished third in the 200 backstroke, becoming Pitt's third women's medalist at ACCs in history.
Last NCAAs
The Pitt women recorded their highest finish in 29 years at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Sophie Yendell became the first All-American female swimmer for Pitt in 39 years.
