- Pitt will host its final match at the Fitzgerald Field House on Friday against Virginia. The Panthers will move to Victory Heights next season, competing in the new 3,000-seat arena. Victory Heights is a cutting-edge athletic performance center that will support the strength and conditioning, sports medicine, nutrition, and mental well-being needs of 16 of Pitt's 19 intercollegiate athletics programs.
- Pitt holds an 11-2 all-time record against Virginia, including a 6-0 mark in the Fitzgerald Field House.
- Mac Stout paces the Panthers with a 15-3 record this season, six of which have come by technical fall. Stout has won seven of his last eight matches, including defeating four top 25 opponents in that stretch: No. 15 Branson John (Maryland), No. 17 Sonny Sasso (Virginia Tech), No. 21 Rune Lawrence (West Virginia), and No. 24 Patrick Brophy (NC State).
