Pitt and Syracuse meet for the 129th time on Saturday, including the 20th time inside the Petersen Events Center. The game will be televised on the ACC Network with tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m.

Syracuse holds a 76-52 advantage in the all-time series. Pitt has only played Penn State and West Virginia more often than Syracuse in the program's history. The Panthers have won each of the past two meetings against The Orange.

Since moving into the ACC, the two programs are 12-12 against each other and have split two meetings in the ACC Tournament.

Pitt swept the season series a year ago, winning 77-73 in the Carrier Dome and posting an 80-69 win inside the Petersen Events Center.

Syracuse is one of four teams in the ACC to be 1-1, while Pitt is one of three teams looking for its first league victory. The Panthers have lost their two conference games by a total of 12 points to teams that are a combined 26-5 on the season.
