- The 197-pound bout will feature a premier ACC matchup, as Mac Stout (No. 1) and Sonny Sasso (No. 2) are the top two ranked wrestlers in the ACC for the weight class, according to the InterMat Rankings. The two last met in high school during the semifinals of the 2022 PIAA 3A State Championships, where Sasso (Nazareth) defeated Stout (Mt. Lebanon) by a 9-6 decision and eventually went on to claim the state title.
