Panthers Fall to No. 19 Cal Sunday Afternoon

PITTSBURGH – Meika Lee captured the floor title with a 9.850, but Pitt was unable to overcome No. 19 Cal, falling 195.550–194.975 at Fitzgerald Field House on Sunday afternoon.
Vault
Freshman Lailah Green led the Panthers with a career-high 9.775, while three additional Panthers followed with scores of 9.725.
Bars
Camryn Chiu and Kennedy Duke each posted 9.750s, and Meika Lee and Hallie Copperwheat added scores of 9.700.
Beam
Newcomer Mali Morgan impressed in her first collegiate beam appearance, recording a 9.825. Fellow freshman Layla Bobek notched a career-high 9.800, while Copperwheat earned a 9.775.
Floor
The Panthers delivered strong performances on floor, totaling a 48.925. Lee led the way with a 9.850, followed by Jaime Pratt's 9.825. Freshman Kenzie Clark continued her consistent success on the event with a 9.800.
