- Pitt returns to action this weekend with a pair of dual meets, starting Friday at 7 p.m. when the Panthers host No. 22 West Virginia at the Fitzgerald Field House. Pitt will then travel to Duke for an ACC matchup on Sunday at 11 a.m. Coverage of each match will be available on ACCNX.
- Pitt and West Virginia will face off at the Fitzgerald Field House for the first time since 2023. The Mountaineers won the last meeting at the Field House in 2023, but the Panthers' lead the all-time series 16-8-1 in Pittsburgh.
- Pitt leads the all-time series against WVU, 39-26-2, and are 3-2 under Coach Keith Gavin.
- The Panthers and Mountaineers met last season, where the Panthers came from behind and scored 16 points over the final four matches en route to their 25-17 victory.

- The Panthers moved to No. 15 in the latest NWCA Rankings. Pitt previously jumped six spots to No. 16 in the Week 6 rankings after an exciting win at then-No. 14 Lehigh on Dec. 5 and improved to No. 14 in the Week 7 rankings.
