Panthers to Play Historic Number of Matches on National Television

PITTSBURGH - The Panthers are playing in a historic 14 nationally televised matches in the 2025 season. Pitt's schedule includes competition broadcast on FOX, ESPN, FS1, Big Ten Network and ACC Network.
Pitt opens its season against No. 1 Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln on Aug. 22 on FOX before playing No. 25 TCU (Aug. 31) and No. 13 Arizona State (Sept. 1) at PPG Paints Arena on FS1.
The Panthers face five opponents on ESPN this season, including a matchup with No. 16 Florida at the AVCA First Serve Showcase and a 2024 Elite Eight rematch against No. 7 Kentucky in the inaugural Shriners Children's Showdown at the Net. Pitt completes its ESPN slate with a home match at the Petersen Events Center against No. 10 SMU (Sept. 28) and away games at Florida State (Oct. 12.) and No. 4 Louisville (Oct. 19).
Pitt plays on the Big Ten Network once against in-state rival and reigning National Champion No. 2 Penn State in Rec Hall on Sept. 17 and five matches on ACC Network playing No. 10 SMU (Sept. 24), No. 22 Georgia Tech (Oct. 5), North Carolina (Nov. 2), Virginia (Nov. 9) and No. 4 Louisville (Nov. 26)
The Panthers begin the season ranked number three nationally, the highest in program history.
