Panthers Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad; Program-Record 11 Placed on Division I Honor Roll

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Lacrosse team was named a 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the third consecutive year and 11 Panthers: Alexa Carannante, Lilly Comello, Maria Donahue, Jill Fenech, Gracie Kahoun, Maggie Long, Madigan Lublin, Maureen McNierney, Ava Peterson, Ava Sumwalt and Abby Thorne were named to the Division I Honor Roll, announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Wednesday afternoon. The 11 honorees are a program record for the Panthers.
Minimum academic requirements for selection as an Academic Honor Squad are a 3.2 grade point average and to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll are a 3.5 and above cumulative grade point average for one's academic career. Juniors, seniors and graduate students that met the criteria were eligible.
