
Griggs Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

PITTSBURGH – Outfielder Kylie Griggs earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
Griggs will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17.
Griggs earned a master's degree in management with a 3.6 GPA this spring, following an early completion of a bachelor's degree in marketing last year with a 3.7 GPA. The Perrysburg, Ohio, native started in each of the 52 games this season and led the Panthers in hits (47), runs scored (34), doubles (14), slugging percentage (.526), and on-base percentage (.415) while being second on the team in batting average (.305) and stolen bases (10).
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and achieve a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA while competing in at least 90 percent of the team's competitions or have at least 17 appearances in the circle.
