Abbey Emch Named To U19 National Team Roster

PITTSBURGH – Abbey Emch has earned a spot on the U19 National Team, announced by the organization on Monday. This is the first USA volleyball national team roster Emch has been a member of.
Training will take place from June 1-7 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (OPTC) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From this training camp, 12 athletes will be selected to represent Team USA in international competition.
The selected athletes will travel to Cadier en Keer, Netherlands, on June 26 for additional training at the Netherlands National Training Center until June 30. The team will then travel to Osijek, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia to compete from July 1-14.
Emch joined the Panthers as an early enrollee this spring and will compete in her freshman season in the fall.
