The Panthers travel to University Park to face in-state rival Penn State in the Battle of the Keystone State. First Pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Big Ten Plus.
Kylie Griggs batted .600 (6-for-10) with three doubles, two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in three games against the Blue Devils. The senior outfielder is currently on a 10-game hitting streak and is batting .471 (16-for-34) with seven RBI, six doubles, and four home runs in that span.
Gwen Sparks led the Panthers to a 5-3 victory over No. 16 Duke, allowing five hits, one run, and a walk with two strikeouts. Sparks held the Blue Devils scoreless for 4.0 innings before being charged with a run in the fifth inning after giving up a single to the leadoff batter.
Sophomore Ahmari Braden is having a breakout season for the Panthers, leading the team and ranking 10th in the ACC with 12 stolen bases while being 12-for-14 on stolen base attempts this season.
Braden is second on the team in batting average (.310), slugging percentage (.460), hits (31) and runs scored (19).
KK Esparza was dominant in Friday's game against Duke, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and a double.
