
10 Panthers Named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

PITTSBURGH – Ten members of the Pitt softball team were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for their academic achievements for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Panthers compiled a 3.37 team GPA as Alena Ball, Ahmari Braden, Bekah Duck, KK Esparza, Shelby Frazier, Macy Hamilton, Amanda Ramirez, Adriana Romano, Sandra Soltes and Gwen Sparks each earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
The All-America Scholar-Athlete award recognizes student-athletes of a NFCA member schools who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. The NFCA will publish a press release in the fall for all the individual scholar-athletes as well as the Top 10 Academic teams in each division.
