
Pitt Lacrosse to Honor 10 Seniors Saturday vs. Notre Dame

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Lacrosse will celebrate Senior Day Saturday, as they welcome No. 25 Notre Dame to Highmark Stadium for the final home game of the 2025 season. The ACC game is set for a 12 PM start in Station Square.
Notre Dame has been victorious in the three previous meetings and enters this weekend's matchup with a 6-7 record. The Fighting Irish are 1-6 in conference play and is coming off of a loss to No. 10 Stanford 8-7. They are led on offense by three student-athletes with more than 30 points: Kathryn Morrissey with 35 (20G, 15A), Kristen Shanahan with 34 (23G, 11A) and Madison Rassas with 33 (29G, 4A). Isabel Pithie has played most of the mintues in the net for the Fighting Irish and has mad 105 saves with a .488 save percentage.
The Panthers defeated Robert Morris 15-4 in a midweek non-conference game Wednesday. Jenna Hendrickson tied the Panther single-game record with six goals in the game and Aidan Carr set a new Pitt record with draw controls in a season with 75. Kara Trullender also had a career day, with four points (1G, 3A).
Pitt will honor ten student-athletes with a pregame ceremony: Sydney Naylor, Rachel Familetti, Devon Cavanaugh, Maria Donahue, Jill Fenech, Christina DeNaples, Natalie Voorhees, Talia Zuco, Maeve Murray and Hendrickson.
