Pitt Swimming and Diving Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

PITTSBURGH - The Panther swimming & diving program was named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) earlier this week.
The men's team earned a 3.30 GPA during the fall semester while the women posted a 3.51 GPA to earn these honors.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the accomplishments, saying, "The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements."
To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
