2/5/2025 1:00:00 PM | Softball
PITTSBURGH – The Panther Ticket Office announced the transition to a free admission model for all Pitt baseball and softball games during the 2025 seasons. Pitt softball fans will be able to attend all home games for FREE at Vartabedian Field on a first come, first serve basis.
Important things to note in the new model:
- All fans will enter through the upper gate at the Petersen Sports Complex. No ticket is required for entry.
- Follow @Pitt_SB on X for updates on schedule changes and capacity updates for high demand matchups.
- Guaranteed admission will be offered to youth teams and groups of 15+ that reach out in advance. (More information below)
- The clear bag policy and rules on prohibited items still apply during entry.
Pitt will open the 2025 campaign Friday at the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla. The Panthers will play the first six weeks on the road before returning to Pittsburgh for their home opener against Georgia Tech, March 21-23.
Pitt will host ACC series against Duke (April 11-13), Virginia Tech (April 17-19) and Louisville (May 1-3) at Vartabedian Field this season.
YOUTH TEAMS AND GROUPS
To ensure that venue capacity limits are not exceeded, it is strongly encouraged that youth teams and groups of 15+ reach out in advance to guarantee their entry into a game. Guaranteed admission will be on a first come, first serve basis for youth teams and groups of 15+ only.
If you are planning to bring a youth team or a group to a Pitt Softball game, please reach out to Aaron Fordyce via afordyce@athletics.pitt.edu with your desired game(s), group name, and number of people planning to attend with your group.
