Panthers Take Two-Game Win Streak into Notre Dame Saturday Afternoon

THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt (16-10, 7-8 ACC) is on the road to play Notre Dame (11-15, 5-10 ACC) Saturday, Feb. 22. Tipoff from the Purcell Pavilion is set for 2:15 p.m. with Tom Werme and Mike Gminski calling the action on The CW.
- Eight of the Panthers' 10 losses have come in Quad 1 games with five of those eight Quad 1 defeats coming by six points or fewer.

- Ishmael Leggett is averaging a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game and is attempting to become the first Pitt guard to lead the team in rebounds in back-to-back seasons.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Ishmael Leggett has scored 15 or more points in 19 of 25 games played this season. He leads the team in rebounds (6.0 rpg.) and steals (44), while also ranking second in scoring (16.2 ppg.), assists (71), and free throws (81).
- Zack Austin leads the Panthers in three-point field goals (48) and blocked shots (46). He the only player in the NCAA with at least 45 three-pointers and 45 blocks this season. Mouhamdou Gueye (2021-22) is the only other Panther to lead the team in blocks and three-pointers in a season.
- Pitt is the only team in the NCAA with two players 6-3 or under averaging 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game or better. Jaland Lowe (16.6 ppg., 4.1 rpg.) and Ishmael Leggett (16.2 ppg., 6.0 rpg.) are looking to become the first pair of Pitt guards to each average at least 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in the same season.
- Cameron Corhen has scored in double figures 16 times and is averaging 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He leads the Panthers in dunks (39) and field goal percentage (.612), while ranking second in offensive rebounds (47) and blocks (21).
- Jaland Lowe (16.6 ppg., 4.1 rpg., 5.2 apg.) is one of eight players in the NCAA averaging at least 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
- Ishmael Leggett is one of nine players in the NCAA averaging at least 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He is looking to join Ricardo Greer (1999-2000) as the only Panthers to achieve those averages in a season.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham and Jorge Diaz Graham are a combined 29-of-69 (.420) from three-point range in ACC play.
- Brandin Cummings has scored in double figures in each of the past three games and is averaging 11.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in that span.
- Zack Austin has made at least one three-point field goal in a career-best 21 consecutive games. He has made at least two threes in 14 of the past 21 contests.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham has grabbed two or more offensive rebounds in each of the past four games and is averaging 3.75 offensive rebounds per game in that span.
- Pitt is 195-of-240 (.813) from the free throw line over the past 13 games. The Panthers have made at least 15 free throws in six of the past eight games and 16 times overall on the season.
- The Panthers have been outscored by 78 points from the three-point line in ACC play. Pitt is averaging 7.7 threes per game on 34.6 (116-of-335) shooting from long range. In contrast, ACC opponents are averaging 9.5 threes per game, while shooting 38.8 percent (142-of-366) from distance against the Panthers.
- Pitt has recorded 10 or fewer turnovers in a game 16 times and are tied for 23rd in the NCAA in turnovers per game (9.9). The Panthers have committed 10 or fewer turnovers nine times in ACC play.
- The Panthers are 11-0 on the season when scoring 80 or more points in a game. Pitt snapped a string of 11 consecutive games without reaching the 80-point mark, the longest such streak since the 2021-22 season, in Tuesday's win over Syracuse.
