Pitt Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

PITTSBURGH — The Pitt Lacrosse program will enter its fifth season in 2026 with a 16-game regular-season schedule, head coach Emily Boissonneault announced Tuesday. The Panthers will host nine games at Highmark Stadium, including Atlantic Coast Conference matchups against Duke, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Clemson and Florida State.
"Our 2026 schedule is the most competitive we've had yet," said Boissonneault. "We are excited to showcase who we are and what we are capable of."
Pitt starts the year one state to the west, with a contest against Big Ten foe Ohio State on Saturday, February 7. Five days later ACC play begins as the Panthers host the Duke Blue Devils at Highmark Stadium on February 12. On February 18, Pitt will travel to Central Pennsylvania for the annual game with Penn State before returning home that weekend to face Virginia Tech on February 22. Another ACC contest closes out February as Pitt takes on Notre Dame in South Bend on February 28.
In March, Pitt plays five home games: Virginia (Mar. 6), American (Mar. 11), Clemson (Mar. 21), Youngstown State (Mar. 24) and James Madison (Mar. 31). The Panthers head to North Carolina (Mar. 7), Boston College (Mar. 14) and Syracuse (Mar. 28) the second month of the season as well.
The schedule concludes with three regular season games in April: vs. Florida State (Apr. 5), at Louisville (Apr. 11) and vs. Robert Morris (Apr. 15).
Home games will once again be played at Highmark Stadium this spring and admission for all fans will be free of charge. Highmark Stadium, completed April 13, 2013, at a cost of $10.2 million, features a FIFA-certified synthetic turf field, a banquet area with a large balcony space overlooking the field and with sensational views of the Pittsburgh skyline, and a 2,200 square foot sports bar with an outstanding selection of food and drink offerings. The home of the USL Champion Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and the home of Pitt Lacrosse boasts a seating capacity of 5,000 people with additional standing room space for games. Located at Station Square on Pittsburgh's South Shore and overlooking the city's downtown skyline from across the Monongahela River, Highmark Stadium is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, hotels and other amenities that add to the gameday atmosphere.
