Game Week: Panthers Face No. 16 Yellow Jackets in Primetime

PITTSBURGH – CFP No. 22 Pitt returns to ACC play with CFP No. 16 Georgia Tech. The Panthers will travel to Atlanta, Ga. to face the Yellow Jackets for the first time since 2022.

This will mark the fourth time Pitt has visited Georgia Tech in their last five meetings, with Pitt going undefeated in the previous three matchups in Atlanta.

GAME STORYLINES

Pitt has won four of the last five meetings against Georgia Tech, including a 52-21 decision the last time they visited the Yellow Jackets in 2021.

Pat Narduzzi is 6-2 against the Yellow Jackets, with the two losses coming on the road in 2017 and at home in 2022, Brent Key's first game as interim head coach.

Since 2015, Pat Narduzzi has directed Pitt to 51 victories in ACC play, the third-highest win total during that span. The Panthers trail only Clemson (75) and Miami (53).

Last week, Pitt's five-game winning streak came to an end with a 37-15 loss to No. 9 Notre Dame.

In his first game back after missing the previous three, LB Rasheem Biles tallied nine tackles, two tackles for loss, one pass breakup, 0.5 sacks and an interception return for a touchdown.

He returned his interception 10 yards for a score, which marked his second pick-six of the season and the third of his career. He and Malcolm Postell (three in 2004) are the only Pitt linebackers to record multiple pick-sixes in a season over the last three decades. All three of Biles' career interceptions have been returned for touchdowns.
