No.19 Pitt Welcomes Princeton for Home Opener Friday

- The Panthers return to Pittsburgh for their home opener at the Fitzgerald Field House Friday, Nov. 14. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX with Jason Earle and Katie Pearson on the call.
- Pitt opened the 2025-26 campaign with two road duals, picking up wins at Navy (20-12) and at Buffalo (33-6). The Panthers also finished second at the Navy Classic with 10 wrestlers placing: one champion, three second-place finishes, three third-place finishes, two fourth-place finishes, one fifth place.
- Pitt and Princeton will meet in dual action for just the fifth time in program history, and for the first time since 2012. The Panthers have won each of the four meetings against the Tigers.
- The Tigers travel to Pittsburgh for just the second time. In the last meeting between the two teams on Jan. 7, 2012, the Panthers won 23-13 at the Fitzgerald Field House.
- No. 5 Mac Stout continued his dominant start to the season, earning his sixth straight victory with a 19-2 technical fall over Connor Jacobs in just 2:41. Stout has now recorded four wins via technical fall in his last six matches, including three in under three minutes.
- Pitt is ranked at No. 19 in the NWCA Preseason Team Rankings and has seven Panthers ranked in the InterMat individual rankings, including five in the Top 25.
