THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt (12-4, 3-2 ACC) travels to Tallahassee, Fla. to face Florida State (11-5, 2-3 ACC) Wednesday, Jan. 15. Tipoff from the Donald L. Tucker Center is set for 9:00 p.m. with Ariya Massoudi and Perry Clark calling the action on ESPNU.

BY THE NUMBERS
- Pitt is one of two programs (joined by Rutgers) in the NCAA with two guards averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game or better. Jaland Lowe (17.2 ppg., 4.6 rpg.) and Ishmael Leggett (16.7 ppg., 5.6 rpg.) have anchored the Panther attack through the first 16 games of the season.
- Jaland Lowe (17.2 ppg.) and Ishmael Leggett (16.7 ppg.) rank eighth and ninth, respectively, in the ACC in scoring. Pitt is the only program with two players ranked in the top 10 in scoring.
- Jaland Lowe is filling the stat sheet averaging 17.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game. He is one of two players in the NCAA (joined by Kam Jones of Marquette) averaging at least 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.
- Zack Austin entered the starting lineup prior to the Virginia Tech game (12/6) and is averaging 11.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in the past seven contests. He is 26-of-48 (.542) from the field, including 14-of-29 (.483) from three-point range, in that span.
- Cameron Corhen has scored in double figures 11 times and is averaging 10.9 points and a team-high 5.8 rebounds per game. He also leads the Panthers in field goal percentage (.632 - 74-of-117), dunks (27) and offensive rebounds (38).
- Ishmael Leggett is one of seven players in the NCAA averaging at least 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham is 11-of-17 (.647) from the field, including 6-of-12 (.500) from three-point range, over the past five games.
- Freshman Brandin Cummings has scored in double figures five times and is averaging 7.3 points per game off the bench. He is shooting 50.0 percent (39-of-78) from the field, including 40.9 percent (18-of-44) from three-point range.
- Pitt is 10-0 on the season and 48-2 under Jeff Capel when scoring 80 or more points in a game.
- Cameron Corhen is averaging 12.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over the past five contests. He has played 30 or more minutes in four of the past five games. Corhen began his career at Florida State where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds over 60 career games (33 starts).
- Ishmael Leggett is expected to make his 100th career start Wednesday against the Seminoles. He has totaled 1,577 points, 603 rebounds, 248 assists, and 156 steals in 134 career games. Leggett has scored in double figures 82 times with 18 games with 20 or more points scored in his career.
- Jaland Lowe is averaging 18.8 points per game, while going 25-of-25 from the foul line, over the past four games. He has topped the 20-point mark twice in that span.
- The Panthers rank 21st nationally (second in the ACC) in KenPom adjusted offensive efficiency at 118.5 points per 100 possessions.
- Pitt is 12-0 on the season when winning or tying the rebounding battle. The Panthers have been outrebounded by a combined 50 boards in their four losses this season.
- The Panthers are currently averaging 8.7 three-pointers per game, while shooting 36.2 percent (139-of-384) from beyond the arc for the season. Pitt has averaged 9.0 or more threes per game and shot better than 35 percent from long range in each of the past two seasons.
