Pitt Adds Pitcher Mikayla Jankovic

PITTSBURGH – Pitt rounded out its 2025 roster with the addition of right-handed pitcher Mikayla Jankovic. The rising sophomore posted a 8-2 record with a 3.66 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 13 starts last season with Salt Lake Community College.
Jankovic is the seventh Bruin from the 2024 roster to transfer to a four-year program. Last season, the Bruins posted a 47-9 record with a 36-4 conference mark, en route to winning the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) title and won the NJCAA Region 18 Championship.
A native of Adelaide, South Australia, Jankovic was a member of the 2023 U19 Australian National Team that competed at the Canada Cup. The right-handed pitcher also helped lead the South Australian U23 State Softball Team to the championship game during the Australian National Softball Championships.
