
Pitt Softball Announces Fall Schedule

Pitt to Face Penn State at Little League Girls with Game, Oct.12
PITTSBURGH – Pitt softball head coach Jenny Allard announced the 2024 fall schedule, Monday morning. The Panthers will play a total of eight games, including facing off against Penn State, Oct. 12, at the Little League Girls with Game Experience in Williamsport, Pa.
Pitt will play seven contests at Vartabedian Field with all games free and open to the public.
The Panthers will host Kent State (Sept. 15), IUP (Sept. 22), Frostburg State (Sept. 28), Mercyhurst and Glenville State (Sept. 29), Saint Francis (Oct. 4), and Robert Morris (Oct. 5) this fall.
The Panthers will close out the fall season at Lamade Stadium for the Little League Girls with Game Experience. Pitt softball players will spend Saturday morning volunteering at the Youth Softball Clinic before facing the Nittany Lions in an exhibition game at 4:30 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on the Little League YouTube channel.
Assistant coach and two-time Women's Professional Fastpich (WPF) champion, Jordan Dail, will participate in the Little League Softball Coaches' Clinic, Friday, Oct. 11, to open the weekend festivities.
