
Program Record 12 Panthers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

PITTSBURGH – Pitt had 12 representatives on the All-ACC Academic Team, it was announced this afternoon by the ACC.
The Panthers' 12 selections were a program record, surpassing the previous program record of eight in 2023.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests and 20 percent of their team's contests as a pitcher.
Josh Spiegel led the group with a 3.75 GPA during the spring semester.
For Ethan Firoved, it was his second career and second consecutive selection to the All-ACC Academic Team.
