16 Panthers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Pitt softball team had a program-record 16 Panthers earn a spot on the 2024 All-ACC Academic team, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.

To be named to the All-ACC Academic team, student-athletes must have a career 3.0 GPA and a 3.0 GPA from the most recent semester, while participating in at least 50% of their team's contests; pitchers must have participated in at least 20% of their team's contests.

Senior Cami Compson earned her fourth career recognition while six other Panthers were named to the All-ACC team for the second time in their careers. Alena Ball and Jordan George each earned a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester with seven more Panthers earning a 3.5 GPA.
