Two Earn CSC Academic All-District Team Honors

PITTSBURGH – Outfielder Kylie Griggs (marketing) and pitcher Adriana Romano (psychology) each earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and achieve a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA while competing in at least 90 percent of the team's competitions or have at least 17 appearances in the circle.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 18.
