Cash Secures Honorable Mention All-American Honors on Final Day of NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Pittsburgh men's swimming and diving team completed the final day of competition at the 2024 Men's NCAA Championships, Saturday evening at the IU Natatorium.
Cameron Cash added Honorable Mention All-American Honors to his resume after finishing ninth overall in the Platform Consolation Finals this evening. The sophomore topped his prelims score of 374.75 after earning a 412.60 in the consolation finals. His performance this week earned him 24 total points.
Sophomore Stepan Goncharov represented Pitt in the 100 free prelims – clocking in at 43.39. Max Matteazzi finished his NCAA Championships journey in the 200 breast preliminary rounds with his tie of 1:56.32.
Also competing today, Jackson Salisbury posted a 289.70 total score in the platform prelims while Daley Fraser secured a 258.50.
