
Panthers' ACC Opponents For 2024-25 & 2025-26 Announced Thursday

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Pitt's opponents for the next two years, the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. The 2024-25 season marks the first of the 18-team ACC, as the league welcomes California, SMU and Stanford.
"As the 2023-24 ACC women's and men's basketball regular-season competition continues and our teams look ahead to the postseason, we are thrilled to announce each school's opponents for our first year as an 18-member league," said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. "We look forward to having Cal, SMU and Stanford join the ACC this summer and we know there's already great excitement and anticipation for our teams, alumni and fans for what's ahead surrounding this incredible conference."
The regular-season ACC games for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons for Pitt are:
2024-25
Home: SMU, Miami, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Notre Dame, Boston College
Away: SMU, Cal, Stanford, Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Syracuse
2025-26
Home: SMU, Cal, Stanford, Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Syracuse
Away: SMU, Miami, Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Notre Dame, Boston College
The matchups released Thursday and revealed live on ACC PM, designate the home and away opponents for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. The full 2024-25 conference schedule with specific game dates, times and networks will be announced early this fall.
The 18-game schedule for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons feature:
- Each school has an assigned travel partner that will feature a home-and-away series.
- The home and away matchups will flip annually.
- Current ACC membership travels to Pacific Time Zone once every two seasons.
As announced earlier this month, the top 15 teams in the final league standings will play in the 2025 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament, played March 5-9 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
